Everyone who visits "TOSH" loves the cottage, Boscastle and the whole area. They are particularly complimentary about the local places to dine out - amazingly, although the cottage is in such a tranquil location there are 6 places to eat within a 3 minute level walk, and in 2009 the National Trust will be opening a new café, taking the total to 7!

Thames Valley, May 2007

We were delighted to find such a thoughtfully refurbed cottage. See Tintagel and have pasties afterwards but make sure you go to Widemouth Bay, put on your wetsuits and enjoy great surf and adjacent beach! All weather this week and never a boring moment thanks - we will be back.

Staffordshire, July 2007

The cottage was really nice, well furnished and very comfortable. Over the week we completed the walks mentioned in the guide and Boscastle is a lovely place. The walks are really worth it if you like to take plenty of pictures! It is very nice! Overall we had a great time here!

London, August 2007

We had a fantastic time in Boscastle, everyone was so friendly, and we didn't want to leave - we will be back. We forgot to fill in the visitor's book. (Testimonial by email)

Wimborne, Dorset, August 2007

Absolutely gorgeous cottage! We have had a fantastic week. We have been on lots of walks locally and really recommend going to watch the sun go down on a bench over looking the harbour. Great to take the kids crabbing on the harbour wall and fantastic views everywhere. We will be back!

Surrey, August 2007

Well what a great holiday and we love TOSH. A real home from home the walks round Boscastle are wonderful and Tintagel castle is a great day out for getting the children to sleep well! Looe and Polperro are wonderful days out too. The beach at Polzeath is great for the surf and sand. Hope to be back soon with love x

Oxfordshire, August 2007

We have had a great holiday - the cottage is lovely! This is the best cottage we have stayed in for comfort and equipment nothing has been forgotten to make our stay home from home. We have loved its location so near to many great places to eat. Thank you for a lovely holiday!! Best beaches - Bossiney, Widemouth and Crackington Haven

Cambridgeshire, September 2007

We have had a great week! TOSH is beautiful and we fell in love with Boscastle. Every day we visited somewhere different: Padstow, Looe, Fowey, Polperro, Truo, Port Isaac etc. All having their own magical charm. It is certainly a place to re-visit! Many thanks.

October 2007 Woodley Berkshire

We really enjoyed ourselves this week - the weather for October was fantastic and we even went swimming in Bossiney Cove! Loved the cottage. The only down side was that the Harbour Light was closed, would love to come back and see the harbour fully restored at some point - maybe next time we will catch something when we go fishing in the harbour again.

Tosh is looking fabulous and great improvement with refurb. We really enjoyed ourselves despite the weather, and had some lovely walks. Olivia loved the crab fishing in the harbour and caught 3! Local pubs great with food and beer the cottage was warm cosy and we all slept well! Thank you.

May 08 Derbyshire

Tosh is fantastic, we have fallen in love with it, the best cottage in the Harbour - once you have stayed here you would never want to stay anywhere else. We managed to get a third week at short notice; we do not want to go home. We have already booked for 2009, three weeks and hoping that we can squeeze in a forth week. Tosh is worth every penny, everything is just perfect, even sitting in the walled garden on a warm day or evening listening to the river flowing

June 08 Gloucestershire

What a fantastic holiday! The cottage, the location and the weather. Boscastle is such a friendly, welcoming and unspoilt village. We spent a great day at The North Cornwall Show, The Saturday an Trebarwith Strand beach (great rock pools and sandy beach), The on Sunday explored Boscastle - walked up to the headland to capture breathtaking views then enjoyed Sunday lunch at the Riverside. We would love to stay here longer! Tosh is just perfect - safe, clean and spacious with all the luxuries to make it special. (Great recommendation from friends).

May 2009 Hampshire

Tosh is beautiful and we loved it loads. The village is so nice, calm and peaceful. We went to the Eden Project which was amazing. There was so much to see. Our last two days were the best, we has such sunny and warm weather, so we went to the beach in Tintagel it was great, not too many people and fab for getting a tan! I had never been to Cornwall before, but know I love it. Thank you for letting us stay! :)

July 2009 Wiltshire

An excellent week - The cottage is spot on in all respects, the welcome pack was a bonus! Great walking. The walk to Tintagel is daily easy going, but the Crackington Haven stretch is fairly difficult when it is 25 degreesC! Ideal walk for walk lovers.

August 2009 Middlesborough

Fabulous cottage - Excellent facilities for all - including toddler. Loved returning to this area 28 years after last visit. Large baps from baker made great picnic!

Third to our friend Tosh loved it. We will be leaving our hearts here in Boscastle.

September 2009 South Devon

Had a fantastic week! So lucky with the weather! Could happily live with this georgous cottage. This is our fifth stay in Boscastle but so much more relaxing staying in the cottage than a Hotel. Thank You.

September 2009 Essex

Enjoyed every minute from arriving at the spotlessly clean cottage to getting hopelessly lost on one of our walks. Would recommend th Napoleon Inn and The Riverside resturant for excellent food. Hopefully we will be back next year. Thank you for letting us stay at Tosh.

October 2009 West Midlands

A lovely cottage, a real home from home! Boscastle is a place you can very quickly relax into. Riverside Hotel serves very good food. Padstow was a lovely place to wander about, especially on the beach! The Eden Project was equally as good, and all within easy reach. Already looking forward to our next visit!!!
